The International Surfing Museum preserves an important part of Huntington Beach's image as "Surf City, USA."
Home to the US Open Surfing Championship and the celebrated Bud Surf Tour, Huntington Beach is rated the "most heavily surfed beach on the West Coast" by Surfer's Almanac. So it is only natural for this surfing landmark to also play host to this international monument to surfing.

The north wall of the International Surfing Museum has a beautiful mural.

Dedicated in May, 1994, the Huntington Beach Surfing Walk of Fame marked an historic addition to "Surf City." Each inductee receives a granite stone placed in the sidewalk extending from the corners of Pacific Coast Highway and Main Street. Catagories include: Surf Pioneer, Surf Champion, Surfing Culture, Local Hero, Woman of the Year and the Honor Roll.
