The Art and Photography of Don Bigelow

Past exhibits that are now closed:

The 40th Anniversary of the 1968 World Surfing Championship exhibit opened November 1, 2008 and has been extended to be on display through summer 2010. The ABC Wide World of Sports coverage (which can be purchased in the gift shop) and Barry Church's photographs bring back the era known as the Summer of Love.

PART 1: THE WOODEN YEARS (THIS EXHIBIT HAS ENDED.)

This exhibit featured surfboard shapers from the early beginnings when surfboards were made from wood, glue and varnish. See the tools they used, the boards they built and learn all about these craftsmen who helped carve out the culture of surfing.
