The Huntington Beach International Surfing Museum Presents–
THE ENDLESS SUMMER REUNION CONCERT

APRIL 6, 2002 GALAXY CONCERT THEATER, SANTA ANA

THE SANDALS... first time together since 1968

The Huntington Beach International Surfing Museum has done it again! We are pleased to announce another "Once In A Lifetime" event in the same spirit as our hugely successful Rendezvous Ballroom Reunion Concerts. Our next major fundraising event, The Endless Summer Reunion Concert, is bringing together all the major principals involved in the 1966 documentary film, The Endless Summer, for the first and only time. Making personnel appearances at the event are Producer/Director Bruce Brown, Poster Designer John Van Hamersveld, and The Sandals who will perform together for the first time since 1968. Surfers Robert August and Mike Hynson are invited, but have not yet committed to attend.

Please join us in celebrating The Endless Summer as the best film of its kind ever made. Bruce Brown enlisted the music of The Sandals, an Orange County surf band, to provide the source music used in the film. The resulting "Theme From The Endless Summer" has become a classic standard of surf music. The film’s poster, designed by John Van Hamersveld, is easily the most recognized image of surfing culture.
